The Eternity Prophecy by S.G. Basu is an amazing science fiction story with a lot of powerful moments.
A Message from S.G. Basu
Hi. I’m S.G. Welcome, one and all, to my corner on KPReading. I hope you have a great time reading through my posts. A word of caution though – I sometimes use upwards PG-13 words. I also sometimes make mistakes with spelling and grammar. I’m only human, right?
So, sit back, relax, and enjoy my eclectic (read always inspired but sometimes loopy) opinions. Characters from my stories will sometimes stop by as well. But I promise to keep them in check since they are known to stir trouble.
An Interview with Steffen Pere by S.G. Basu
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Spending a lifetime with my Fia. Growing old watching her live and laugh.
What is your greatest fear?
Fear? You dare ask Master Assassin Steffen Pere about fear? Fear is for weaklings. And I'll show you its true meaning if you keep asking me senseless questions.
On what occasion do you lie?
I do not. I kill, but I never lie.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
What do you like about it? Do you like my mangled face, my gouged eyes, the metal scalp holding my brains in place?
Don't be afraid, you can tell me how ugly I am. But be careful, don't let me see disgust in your eyes. The one thing I hate more than my appearance is people giving me that look I'm starting to see on your face.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Ridding the world of those who took my Fia from me. The Empire called me a hero. They gave me medals and made me Master Assassin. But the real prize are my memories. I ripped those lowlifes apart . . . I can still feel their blood in my hands, I can smell their fear, and hear them scream. Ahh . . .
Who is Steffen Pere?
Steffen Pere is a Master Assassin of the Imperial Special Ops. He has also been called Ghost Face and Metal Man. Little is known about him or his past, but legends say he was once a regular man with a wife and a daughter. Some say he killed them both, some say they ran away from him. About one thing everyone agrees--no one who sees Steffen's disfigured face lives long enough to talk about it.
